School Age Care

General Information

Our objective is to provide quality childcare for children in Kindergarten through age twelve.  We offer an environment that is fun, safe, stimulating and nurturing.  We feel your child will enjoy their time in the program.

Before and After School

The Before School Program opens at 6:00 a.m. and provides a healthy breakfast for the students in the morning.   Depew School District buses from our Center to the schools.  The After School Program begins when the students are dropped off by the bus.  Our teachers meet the students at the bus and bring them into the program area.  A nutritious  snack is provided. The students are given time and assistance with their school homework. Games, arts & crafts, and play are integral to the program.  We also accommodate school emergency and early closings.  The program closes promptly at 6:00 p.m.

We now proudly offer bussing to and from Northwood and Clinton Street Elementary school from the West Seneca School District, as well as to and from Como Park, John A. Sciole and Court Street schools in the Lancaster School District.  This service is provided by our own Lord of Life buses by properly licensed drivers.  Please call for more information.

Holiday/Vacation

The School Holiday Program provides full and half day service. Field trips are provided in addition to other enjoyable activities.

Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp is a very active experience. The students go on many field trips, including museums, parks and libraries.  In addition to field trips, the students enjoy group and individual projects and games. On a daily basis, the students have opportunities to read and record their experiences in journals. The outdoor nature preserve affords the children the opportunity observe the flora and fauna, and to work on environmental projects. This is a relaxed program that gives the children the break they need after a busy school year, while they continue to learn in a fun way.

Our School Age Program holds certain expectations of behavior, for the safety and enjoyment of all participants.  All students, parents and teachers are required to sign a Behavior Contract.  Rules are posted and enforced.   Students must adhere to the Contract to remain enrolled in the program.
